I’m Sacha Donovan, a personal trainer in Auckland.

At 40, I joined the gym after raising three kids, knowing I needed to get fit. With an experienced personal trainer's guidance things changed. The progress I achieved was rewarding and satisfying. I grew in confidence.

As a busy mother, I found significant mental as well as physical benefits in trainer-led sessions. Increased energy at work, greater capacity for family life. Everyone gained. Personal training was an investment in myself.

Now at 48, through strength training and solid nutrition I'm discovering my body's capabilities. For me it's about getting fitter and stronger, yes…but more importantly, it’s about recognising what I can do.

Powerhaus- the name, pays homage to my European roots and reflects my genuine passion for strength training. With 23+ years in teaching, I have combined my skill set in education with fitness to help others reach their goals.

MY WHY

I believe strength training is medicine. Evidence is mounting on the long term benefits it has for us mentally and physically as we age. This is my experience firsthand.
